What we do

We collect and analyse cyberattack data and provide insights to aid organisations. We also work with adjacent sectors to reinforce their knowledge of the cyber landscape in which their aid partners work.

  • We monitor cyberattacks against individuals and organisations working in the humanitarian and development sectors.
  • We raise awareness of the real-world harms resulting from cyberattacks for organisations, their beneficiaries, and wider communities.
  • We analyse patterns and trends of cyberattacks and related harms across these sectors over time as an evidence base for the development of informed counter measures.
  • We advocate for making cyber security a pillar of programmes across the humanitarian and development sectors to better prevent harms.
